Who else wants to be ahead of the class? #Giveaway
Or are you too Cool for School?
We’ve unboxed our September High School-themed KitNipBox and I’m really excited to show you all the catnippy goodies we found! We subscribe to the monthly multi-cat KitNipBox option and receiving the box always puts a spring in my step! But before I show you our box of goodness and tell you about our pawsome giveaway, I have a little backstory to tell.
I’m Mr. Jack and apart from being the Chief Social Facilitator (CSF) I am also known as the class clown. Well, I don’t see anything wrong with that, especially if I’m entertaining the humans and pals with my good-natured goofball mentality. I know there is a time and place for clowning around but sometimes I can’t help myself. For instance, I don’t really pay attention in clicker training class, I arrive late and I don’t take notes.
But you see, I don’t see the relevance of going above and beyond “sit.” I mean, why does The lady Cat think that I need to “high five” too? It’s not that I’m too cool for school, it’s just that you have to convince me that listening to the silly clicker is better than running off to chase an invisible bug!
But enough about my failings in class, let me show you the contents of the box which are sure to make the two straight-A brofurs, Ollie and Baggy trill with delight. After all, these two are teacher’s pets! You will agree when you see the video at the end.
School has started and every cool cat wants what is in this box!
All For Paws Pencil Kicker – Well kitties, if there’s one thing I have learned in class, is that you wing it as you go along.
Note taking and me do not a team make.
But let me tell you, I immediately bonded with this little pencil kicker. The card says it’s 100% Canadian catnip, now that will get me kicking with joy every time. I’m so impressed I’ll have to re-think my no notes policy.
Multipet Catnip Garden – a bag of catnip to give us a little kick in our paws! After sleeping up to 18 hours a day, a cat needs to be ready to seize the night and bounce off the walls. To be honest, we didn’t open this yet, Scout tried stealing it from the cupboards but got into a lot of trouble.
Dreamcat Pencil Case kicker – Filled with North American catnip, this is one of my favorites too!
Giveaway items from us to you
R Squad Crinkle Pennant – A catnip filled crinkly flag fit for bunny kicks, classroom tricks, and cool cat licks. But don’t worry, as much as I was tempted to dig in and bat this baby around, I decided to include it in my giveaway! So breathe a sigh of relief, no ‘Mr. Jack breath spit’. The Lady Cat promptly set it aside as she said we have enough crinkly toys.
Paws ‘N Purrs Pizza Pillow – When you’re done batting it around, this pizza pillow is perfect for snoozing anytime time of day. Just don’t fall asleep during class like I do. Filled with North American catnip, your pizza pillow will send you into a wild frenzy and then lull you to sleep. I’m a big fan of catnip filled pillows. I still have my emoji pillow from my very first KitNipBox and my pal Sly Pie claimed his tea time donut pillow in last month’s KitNipBox. Besides, we won’t be needing lunchtime pizza; clicker training class starts promptly one hour after supper.
All for Paws Straight-A Cat – Remember the strait-A guys, you know, the teacher’s pets, Ollie and Baggy? Yes, them. Well, I’m so annoyed right now, I’m including this in the giveaway. I don’t need to be reminded of how rubbish I am at training. So if you’re a smartypants straight-A kind of cat you will love to get your paws on this little fellow, Mr. Straight-A to remind you of your awesomeness. He comes filled with grade-A catnip and interesting textures, perfect for kitties who like playing fetch!
Tiger Tail Mascot Wand – Now this is a toy that all honest to good kitties will appreciate. It’s perfect because it makes the humans work too. They call it interactive play and if they are serious about your relationship and your environment enrichment needs you will have plenty of play sessions. It’s a great way for you to teach your human the proper wand waving technique. A lame lackluster waving technique should be met with indifference by you followed by a walkout.
In the video below I demonstrate the use of the pencil kicker and other cool toys.
I’m always late for the evening class, but …
If you dare watch our clicker training video below you will see the three nerds teacher’s pets right at the front of the class, all eager to learn. Okay I admit, there is no excuse for casually strolling into class five minutes late, but I don’t think it’s right that she ignores me. After all, I was “sitting” but did I get any treats? Zilch! Nothing!
All I have to say is this. I will be taking notes. Notes of all the times in class I “sit” but don’t get treats like everyone else. I don’t think this is fair, do you?
And now for the Giveaway!

Pipo likes nip pillows and crinkly toys the best! He would love a chance to win a set of these pawsome toys! Thanks for this giveaway!
MIAOW!
Purrs!
Good luck to your Pipo! And thanks for pouncing by 🙂
What a fun box of goodies! If going to school means getting to play with toys, sign us up!
My cats all say me! me! I want to win! I love Kitnip Box (though I wish they would put longer handles on their wand toys and add a little more variety now and then.) I had to drop my subscription for money reasons and I would LOVE to win the crowd some new fun stuff.——-
What a fun giveaway. I’ve never trained with a clicker. You make it look so easy! Wish I had done more of that when my kitties were younger!
It’s never too later to teach and old cat new tricks, really! It also helps if they are food motivated. 🙂
That box and the giveaway sound amazing! I like the crinkly balls the best. Actually I like any kind of ball that rattles. Would you believe TW once bought a clicker with the thought that I’d be down with that?
Heh heh CK you do your own thing, you live your own thing, you create your own thing. TW shoulda known that! Good luck!
Interactive toys are a must but who doesn’t love catnip filled pizza toys!!! Thank you for the clicker training high five video! One of my kitties is very treat motivated and I think would adapt to clicker training well!
It makes it so much easier when kitty is food motivated! You should totally try clicker training. Some learn faster than others. Others, just take their time 🙂
I would love to win this box of goodies for my cat, Daisy Mae. I think she would love them. Especially the catnip. That’s a good looking box of prizes. I hope I win. I really want to win.
Well then, good luck to Daisy Mae. 🙂
I think Daisy Mae would like all toys especially the ones with or near catnip.
Life with catnip is so much better! 🙂
That sure is a lot of nice school supplies and darn fun ones too!
A kitty can never have too many school supplies, right? MOL
I think a kicker would be nice my cats goes wild
Thanks for pouncing by. There is something about kickers that brings out the zoomies, kitties just go nuts! MOL
I don’t know much about clicker training – but you are certainly a success story! We thoroughly enjoyed the box we won here.
Glad to hear Bear and Ellie Mae loved the KitNipBox! Let’s see if they’re second time lucky!
That is a cool box of goodies. My Sammy loves kickers.
Thanks for pouncing by and good luck to Sammy! 🙂
We have three cats (and currently two extras staying with us for a little while). Of our three, Moko would prefer the pillows, Arata is crazy for kicker toys, and Kotoha would prefer the crinkly toys. They would love ALL of these toys!
Thank you for punching by, and good luck to Arata, Moko and Kotoha. Love the names!
My three cats love all toys. Lily, our demented 1 year old new-comer Tabby, loves crinkly toys,
but I have seen her go nuts over a straw! Twilight, our Russian Blue, prefers a wand toy
to get his “Mom” involved….Lynxie, our big “Gray Tuxedo” cat (is that a breed?) goes for anything that moves,
and watch out for those giant paws if he’s been hitting the catnip!
They love the idea of toys in the mail…..and the box…..
Oh wow! You sound like you have quite a fun bunch of confident kitties who know what they want and have life all figured out 😉 Tuxedo is not a breed but a coat color, and I can just imagine Lynxie and his giant paws. Good luck to your kitties!
I have two cats and they love crinkly toys!
Good luck to your kitties! I they win there’ll be enough toys to go aroud for your duo 🙂
What a great review and giveaway. Budd, the new addition loves to kick toys. The girls are a little more dainty but Budd loves to kick and drool all over the toy. This would be an awesome gift for them.
Budd is in good company then, our pal Charlie loves to drool and kick the toys. Good luck to Budd!
My cat loves kicker toys. He chases them all around the house.
Good choice, kickers are the best aren’t they?
My cats like crinkly toys the best. Unfortunately these annoy me the most.
Heh heh that’s funny 😄
Great review, Mr. Jack! You certainly showed that pencil kicker who’s boss!! What a fun looking box o’ goodies!
Kicker toys are my favorite! 🙂 then the crinklies!
“Which of the three toys do your cats go nuts for: crinkly toys, kicker toys, cat pillows or all three?” I think my cat would be open to all three!
Heh heh! Good luck and thanks fur pouncing by!
i dont have cats, only dogs, however, i would love this to donate to safe haven for cats rescue. i know my youngest dog loves toys, even better than food, she would like the crinkly toys, toys that make noises. what a nice bag of goodies.
Good luck to you and so nice you would donate to the shelter kitties 🙂 Ha! That’s no surprise too, that doggie would love toys like these too!
My 2 cats tend to like all three of them. However, they go more towards crinkly toys.
We too, love the crinkly toys, there’s just something about that rustling crinkly noise they make! 🙂
So our resident cat thinks she is too cool for school BUT our new foster fail kitty Teddy is young and playful and would LOVE to win any of these cool toys! He especially links crinkly toys.
There’s always one who thinks he’s too cool for school. It seems the crinkly toys always come out tops! Good luck to Teddy!
Good luck to everyone entering as I do not have a cat so am stepping away from this giveaway. I had to explain to Layla why I was doing it so she is moping at the moment LOL
Heh heh awe I’m sure little pups like kitty toys too!
I love that pencil it’s so cute!! For some reason none of my cats were ever interested in toys, they preferred to play soccer with a rolled up piece of paper. The one thing Mini loved more than anything was catnip, especially when I sprinkled it on the floor so she could roll around in it!!
The box has so many fun toys.
The video made us smile.
Your felines “high five” very well! 🙂
Thank you! Mr. Jack finally got the hang of it, so he graduated to the next level!
I have 3 cats and all love different ones, so all 3
What a fun box of goodies. I love the softer toys for cats. I won’t be entering the giveaway but good luck to the participants. Someone is going to be a lucky winner! I love that your cats nailed the “high five” trick. Nice job!
That looks like a great box of kitty cat goodies. My cat Nala passed away at 19.5 shortly after we got Kilo the Pug. I started training her a few years before she passed with little pieces of cooked chicken (her fave) – she learned a few tricks and to weave (she enjoyed rubbing on my legs so that was fun for her). Enjoy your toys and treats.
Wow, 19.5 is a good age! I didn’t know you had a kitty before. It’s so much fun training cats!
All the toys look like a lot of fun.
My sister found a kitten on the highway about a month ago. He has a bad eye and some wonky back legs, but he is thriving with her. I think he’d like all 3 kinds of toys.
That is such a great box of goodies! The pencil kicker looks like a lot of fun. You guys are doing really good at your high five training!
Thank you! The Lady Cat is very strict in class and does not tolerate any nonsense! No pawticipation awards here! LOL
I don’t have cats but I can imagine every cat wanting what’s in the box 🙂
Oliver loves kicker toys!
That high five training looks so cute!
We think we like the pencil kicker the best! It’s long which makes it great for kicking and it has a feather, which is Brulee’s favorite!
Mom had read about that clicker training, but she hasn’t yet tried it on me. Mr. Jack, it looks like “the teacher’s pets” have got her trained well! Did you demand to get treats when you walked into the kitchen? Tee hee hee. Your video with the KitNipBox toys is sure cute! Winky winks.
I demanded treats but she didn’t care. You watch, I am going to get it right someday!
Wow, those were some CatTastic high fives in that video – you kitties rock! Don’t feel bad Mr. Jack, I wasn’t a great student either. Sometimes you need to suck it up and sit or give high fives if you want the really good stuff! I do love that feather pencil, great contest. I will share so my kitty friends can enter!
Love & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
You’ll be glad to know since this video, I finally figured it out! I can high five just like the rest of them! xx Mr. Jack
Crinkly toys!
What a cool box of goodies! I mean, a pizza pillow???!!! My Huskies would love that!
Heh heh, now I can just imagine a pack of huskies playing with the pizza pillow, hilarious!
My cats like the crinkly toys best. Thanks 🙂
Mine loves the crinkly toys. Anything that makes a little bit of noise! She’s a sucker for pretty much anything that she can get her paws on LOL thank you so much for the chance 🙂
Definitely the crinkly toys. She loses her mind when she hears that crinkle!
All three toys.
That’s so cool! It’s just like a loot box for humans! For us gamers out there, there’s a thing called loot boxes which has all these shirts, figurines, toys, and other neat stuff that are all collectible items. I didn’t know they had that for cats!
Yes, I love that they have these boxes for kitties too. I didn’t know about boxes for gamers too, that’s so cool and I suppose makes perfect sense, why not?!
