Monday Haiku: Jumpstart into Spring
Last updated March 12th, 2018
Nothing feels as good
As a leap into freedom
From winter’s shackles
I’m feeling revitalized and supercharged after a long winter. I’m ready to get moving and exploring. I don’t care if they say there’s more snow to come, just let me enjoy this moment here and now. Very soon the vine buds will show and the scent will be irresistible. This is my space. This is the Vine Corner.
Find your happy corner and enjoy your moment.
Happy Monday!
Love from Sly Pie

I’m hoping that Spring gets here soon……….we’ve actually been lucky in that we didn’t get much snow this year but we sure got RAIN and WIND and I’m ready for SUN and FUN!
Happy Monday!

We can do with some fun in the sun right now!
We are so ready for Spring, if we could only skip Kitten Season.

I know, we wish there wasn’t a kitten season
We had sunshine all weekend and it made us wish for spring even more!

Not long to go, yay!
“Find your happy corner and enjoy your moment” … awesome advice! We are about as happy as we make up our minds to be, and we each have a special spot where we feel most content. Wishing you a beautiful Springtime coming soon, full of wonderful sights, sounds, and smells! XO
Thank you! Finding a happy moment is as easy as you make it 😉
Happy Spring! ~grin~ I just wish we didn’t have to mow the grass all the time. ~sigh~ Be well!
Yes that is true, there is lots of grass here too in the Summer.
That is a great Spark!
Thank you!
I’ve already jumped into spring. We just had a storm, but today the sun is shining, it’s mostly warm and the buds are on the fruit trees. I’m as ready as you are.
Have a fabulous day. ♥

And over here, pothole season, yikes!
Spring is pretty much here for us. Still cold at night but the days are pleasant and the daffodils and tulips are blooming.
Oh I would give anything to be able to smell a flower, or just gaze at a bee.
Sigh If it was true that spring is coming soon. We’re expecting another big snowstorm.

OH thank you, enjoy your week and hugs back at ya!
We’ve had a few really nice days already, with the sun shining brightly, and it’s a blessing to be out in its warmth. More to come 🙂
Warmth is welcome, yes! 🙂
The vine corner looks like a great place to be. Hope you don’t get too much more snow.

Yes, we have to share our Vine Corner though, ah well, that’s okay. But, alas we are having another snow storm.
Count me in for the Jump into Spring. Wasn’t really a bad winter so far, but still, I’m ready for warm days every day. Love the photo of the kitty.

Warm days anytime! But then I can be found inside belly up underneath the fan!
We’re waiting in excitement for Spring, but after ice age, Autumn set in again…sigh… Great picture and Haiku, Sly Pie, I’m off to my corner 😀 Pawkisses for a Wonderful Day 🙂 <3
Yes, a leap into spring sounds just dandy to me! Sly Pie, what kind of vines do you grow up the sides of your catio and can you nibble on them? I wish I could come over and visit with you & your furrsibs, ’cause I know you all would be so much fun to play with! XOXO

We are a riot, especially my friend Mr. Jack, he’s a real goofball and you will fit right in! The Vine is called Actinidia Kolomikta which is the same genus as the Silver Vine that us kitties go nuts for, called Actinidia Polygama. The leaves are safe for us to nibble but we mostly like the bark.
