Sunday Selfie: Sweet Jelly beans and other assorted flavors
Last updated on September 2nd, 2018 at 10:58 am
They’re soft, oval, smooth and come in a variety of assorted hues, such as pink, black and chocolate. When we look at them, we might be forgiven for thinking they’re sweet. They’re neatly embedded in and surrounded by what seems to be a floof of cotton candy in a rich variety of colors. In some cases there’s more floof than beans! If you’re just as obsessed with kitty bean toes as we are, you would have gathered by now that we’re not talking about a bag of candies or licorice allsorts, we’re talking about kitty jelly beans!
In today’s Sunday Selfie, Sly Pie shows off his sweet jelly bean toes. If they were candies, I’m convinced his jelly beans would be watermelon and licorice flavored. What do you think?
We’re particularly impressed with Sly Pie’s toe beans because they didn’t always look this soft and conditioned when he was rescued from the winter elements last year. Stay tuned in the coming weeks when Sly Pie will tell his story about how he came to live with us during a bitterly cold harsh winter.
So go ahead and take a moment to marvel at your kitty jelly beans. Just be careful, too much sweetness can bring on cavities!
Tell us, do you also wonder what’s the flavor of your kitties’ jelly beans? Fess up and chirp us a line in the comments below.
We’re joining the Kitties Blue, The Cat on my Head for week #159 of their Sunday Selfies blog hop. Today they have a rather stinky visitor! Go and check them out as well as all the other blogs for some Sunday hoppity skippity fun.
You look delicious, Sly Pie!
I love your vivid description of jelly bean toes! Most would look at Mudpie’s and say they were licorice flavored, but I know they’re chocolate 🙂
I can definitely see Mupie as having chocolate beans, so cute heh heh!

I knew EXACTLY what you were referring to the second I started reading, love it!
Sly Pie, those are the cleanest paws we’ve ever seen!
That’s good, it didn’t always look so fresh! Life was tough out on the streets! mol
Definitely a cat thats been keeping on top of their Jelly Bean duties. Watermelon seems about the tastiest description ever, the peep thinks mine are a sort of dusky rose on an early autumn morning. In case there’re any thoughts of sniffing them I did mention that this rose has thorns! MOL
Toodle-oo and purrs

Awee dusky rose, a lovely description of your beans. Oh yes, beware of the thorns. I like using my thorns when they decide it’s trimming time!

Mom say’s mine, being all black, would be licorice or tootsie roll flavored. The white kitties before me would’ve had marshmallow and cotton candy beans. Tee hee hee!
