Birthday Haiku from Earl Grey who turns 17!

Earl Grey turns 17 today and he has a few words of wisdom for his younger purry pals. He’s made old bones but he’s mostly done things his way. Today he is still King of his castle even though a frail body says otherwise. We are blessed to have this handsome old boy in our lives and we cherish every moment with him.
We hope all you younger kitties take heed and learn from an old chap who has lived a full life.
I’m a very old chap
I’ve traveled oceans afar
And come full circleLive life full of love
Take your chances and be free
From excuses and regretVisit the vet often
Drink from the fountain of youth
The carrier is your friendBe kind to your friends
Hiss once then purr you’re sorry
Cuddle buddies are for life
