Monday cativities at the watering hole

Meowvelous Monday Haiku with Sly Pie

When the cat grass is looking a little leggy and you’ve chugged all the water a kitty can possibly drink, it’s time to get serious with these three suspicious looking snowmen. They’ve been lurking around our watering hole  for a week now.  I haven’t quite put my paw on it, but there’s something odd about them, almost sinister. It’s just a kitty sense.  Read More

Pumpkins, Bow Ties and Meowvelous Monday Haiku

Hello furriends, it’s me Mr. Jack and I’m presenting Meowvelous Monday Haiku today. I never thought I could ever get excited about wearing a bow tie but when the Lady Cat started taking photos in the catio I sprinted in to join her. You see, in the past, I never condoned any sort of accessory on me because I don’t like to taint my fifty shades of grey with any other color. She once made me wear a hat, well I only agreed to because it was Canada Day and well, after a while it felt okay so I guess I tolerated it… for ten seconds.   Read More

But I think they’re getting the garden ready and if that’s the case then that makes me one very happy cat.  Read More

Monday Haiku: Say it Simply With Affirmations

Charlie takes that step forward

We don’t do New Year’s resolutions – it’s a heavy burden that can weigh you down. Now not to burst your resolution bubble at all, we do have an alternative pathway that allows for more fluidity. Because life is not stagnant. Sometimes your goals need to shift gears too and may steer you in a different direction.

Instead, we like to use affirmations, because it’s evolving, shifting and changing according to whatever life’s tide washes your way. Affirmations will allow you to reach your goals, trailing along many pathways while keeping it crystal clear. But all these pathways lead to your end goal, and before you know it you’ve accomplished your goal, hey wait…. you’ve actually made a resolution and stuck to it, without even knowing it! Read More

Monday Haiku: The Pathway to Purrfection

Last updated November 9th, 2017

Hello furriends! Happy Monday from me, Mr. Jack. If you know anything about me, you know that my main tasks here at the Chirpy household is to keep the peace and spread the communal scent through grooming everyone in my path, heck, even human feet. But that is not the only reason I groom. I also like to groom my coat to keep it in tip-top shape for my selfies. I like my fur and whiskers all in place. But there comes a time when striving for perfection can become stifling, exhausting and rather energy-draining. In today’s haiku, I leave you with my eye-opening realization as I lay on a bed of Autumn leaves… Read More
